Every festive occasion comes with a unique set of objects or icons. Over time these objects have become easily identifiable representations of a holiday, anniversary or special occasion. Photographer Laurence Mouton brings to us a diverse group of artifacts symbolizing various rituals and traditions from around the world. In a simple candle, tree, or heart shape we will all be reminded of a certain time or place reserved for a certain festive occasion.
